How to Send your Artwork
At A Frames Supply we have three preferred methods of sending us your artwork files.
- Files no larger than 10MB can be emailed to sales@aframes.net.au
- Files sent via www.wetransfer.com. www.sendspace.com.These are free and no log in required file uploading website
- You can also send your artwork on CD by express post mail to: 29 Catherine St, Coburg North, VIC 3058
- Please make sure you label your CD with your company name and invoice number so we can track the artwork to your order.
Artwork Specifications
How To Supply Print Ready Artwork
- All text converted to outlines
- All images and elements embedded into the file
- Black elements saved with the colour break down of 100% of CMYK(Registration)
- Vector artwork setup in 1:1 scale and saved as PDF, EPS or AI file types
- BITMAP artwork setup in 1:1 scale and saved as JPEG or TIFF with at lease 150dpi
- supplied files should not include colour bans, trim, crop and registration marks
We prefer to receive high resolution files in PDF format. PDF files are smaller in size and quick to upload to out uploader
- Adobe Illustrator - Version Creative Suite 2 (CS3) or earlier (.al, .eps) and pdf.
- Adobe Photoshop - Version Creative Suite 2 (CS3) or earlier (.tif, eps) and pdf.
Bleed
Remember to include sufficient image area on all edges where images or colour bleed (print over the edge).
Colour Matching
If your job is 'colour critical' please supply a PMS colour or sample for us to match to. Also please note that variables such as media, ink pigment and lamination may cause colours to vary from intended results.
Common Mistakes
- When customers supply us their print ready artwork there are two mistakes commonly made
- Text has not been outlined
- File includes trim, crop and registration marks
